Middle and High School students from around the San Juans come together each spring to share their projects and research related to environmental resilience. An authentic audience of peers and community members can choose from several breakout rooms of presentations and talk to students presenters during a poster symposium. After lunch students choose from a menu of on-campus activities to learn more about higher education at Fort Lewis College.
In the first of 3 yearly meetings, the 2-3-2 Partnership will be discussing local collaborative efforts near Ghost Ranch, where the event takes place, landscape prioritization efforts, field trips, and a film screening from the Quivira Coalition. There’s a meet and greet on the evening of the 27th, with the full meeting on the 28th. Learn more at the 2-3-2 websitership.org/ or contact alex@mountainstudies.org.
