What does it mean to become a Rising River Steward(RRS)?
Our Rising River Stewards are committed to supporting their local watershed. As a Rising River Steward, you will learn the complexity behind our environmental systems, help with stewardship projects, create awareness around the impact you make, and build a relationship with the natural world. MSI’s environmental educators are hoping to support you by providing watershed tours and stewardship days to familiarize you with the land you live on and the environment that surrounds you.
What do you receive as a Rising River Steward?
Once you attend one Rising River Steward event, you will receive a RRS pin. This pin holds the responsibility to now share your new knowledge out with your community. Wear your pin into the world proudly and share with others how to become a steward of your local environment.
