Mountain Studies Institute and Earth Force are hosting two virtual workshops for teachers and educators to help students develop STEM knowledge, environmental stewardship, and civic action skills as they create solution-oriented projects to address environmental issues in their communities.
EDUCATORS WILL:
Receive training in Earth Force's award-winning Community Action & Problem Solving process
Receive ongoing support and consultation from Earth Force
Facilitate students in an authentic and engaging learning experience
Receive 4 professional development contact hours
STUDENTS WILL:
Investigate environmental issues in their community
Work collaboratively on a meaningful project
Research solutions to pressing environmental challenges
Engage with experts and stakeholders
