The Basics: Check-in begins and 8:30 am at the Colorado Room (SUN 211; Student Union Building) at Ft. Lewis College and we'll finish up by 5:00pm at Waterfall Ranch. You are responsible for getting yourself to the field site (~20 minutes).

Registration is $45 (see below for info on reduced rates).

Parking is available in commuter lots, denoted by the letter C. Daily parking permits, which are required, may be purchased at the kiosks located at the Fort Lewis College Information signs which are located on Fort Lewis Drive and the East 8th Avenue entrance (Front Hill). A daily parking permit is $5.00. Cash and Credit cards are accepted at the kiosks.

What topics will be covered at the workshop?

Morning classroom portion will include: a panel on riparian restoration for habitat improvement (birds, fish, & bees - oh my!), a presentation by Chris Rasmussen on site prioritization across landscapes, and small group discussions on community engagement on collaborative projects.

The afternoon at Waterfall Ranch will begin with a catered lunch and be followed by: visiting active and successful restoration sites and a hands-on demonstration of willow-matting.

Who should attend?

Land managers from non-profits, state/local/federal government, tribal governments, partnership staff, students, landowners, & NRCS staff. IPCP grantees attend for free (as long as they register ahead of time) - you know who you are!

What about food?

We see what you're getting at here: yes, lunch is included. We'll keep you posted on the details as the event nears.

What if $45 is too much for me/my organization right now?

We understand that land management organizations have varied capacities and that not all have trainings included in their budgets. Please fill in the following form and we will contact you ASAP with a registration code for a subsidized admission fee. Apply here: https://goo.gl/forms/F0H3O4ysORGZAcmR2
