Join us to learn more about beetles and their role in our forests with insect experts of the Southwest!

Entomologists Dr. Dan West, Colorado State Forest Service, and Amy Lockner, US Forest Service, will be leading a discussion about spruce beetle at Silverton’s beautiful Grand Imperial Hotel Theater Thursday September 19th from 6-8pm.

This event is free and open to the public, so come join us to learn about how weather, precipitation, and snow-pack affects spruce beetles as well as their history and potential movement across the landscape.
