The San Juan Resilience Youth Summit (SJRYS) is modeled after scientific research summits. It is a free science fair like gathering for students to come together and share their projects on any environmental topic. Students are provided an opportunity to share their work with and learn from an authentic audience of peers, natural resource professionals, and community leaders. The summit is a perfect venue to enhance public speaking skills and get exposure to higher education and career opportunities. The theme of this year’s summit will be Resilience.
Students are invited to join the Summit as presenters or participants. Teachers are invited to get their whole class involved. Email Luke@mountainstudies.org with any questions.
