This years conference will be held in Mountain Village, CO and the San Miguel Watershed. Each year the conference is hosted in a different San Juan community to highlight the host area’s mining heritage and successes in conducing mine remediation and water quality improvement projects. May 28th we will tour mining and reclamation sites in the San Miguel watershed. May 29th will feature speakers, panel discussion, and poster session at the Peaks Lodge in Mountain Village.

Additional presentations and workshops by diverse speakers (industry professionals, watershed groups, government personnel, citizens, and research scientists) from across the State of Colorado highlight innovative approaches for environmentally and economically viable solutions to mine remediation and water quality restoration.
